This is the story of a college-aged girl named Lauren and her family. Her father is a well-known criminal attorney, with anger and domestic violence issues. Lauren is heavily entwined in the dramas of her family, and as the tale unfolds, the reader finds out more and more. Lauren’s boyfriend is also a central character—Jesse used to work for Lauren’s father, but left him and is now out to do him in. The book was suspenseful, intriguing, and disturbing at times, but a fairly quick read. Available on Kindle for free right now!
