This week is short on meals–our families are coming to town this weekend to help us celebrate Ethan’s birthday! Can you believe our boy is almost one?! We had his one-year pictures taken last weekend, his party is on Saturday, and his birthday is Sunday. Amazing how fast the year has gone. The other big event this week is the start of the High Holidays. Lucky for Ethan, Rosh Hashanah starts on his birthday this year. So we’re hosting a big dinner Sunday night that will be a combination birthday/holiday dinner.
Tuesday: Garden veggie penne with homemade sauce, steamed veggies
Wednesday: Leftover pasta
Thursday: Honey chicken with mashed sweet potatoes, steamed veggies
Friday: Eating out TBD
Saturday: Pei Wei
Sunday: Brisket, roasted sweet potatoes, apples, and onions, steamed broccoli, challah, apples and honey, and cookie cake for dessert.
