Do you guys remember the Gluten-Free Renewal Cleanse? Well, nutritionista Meghan is back with another great program, and I wanted to tell you about it. I don’t get anything in return–I participated last year (and would love to again this year), and thought it was a great way to start kicking my bad food habits to the curb. This year, my hope would be that it helps me continue the progress with weight loss I’ve already made through Weight Watchers–I’m down 14 lbs. from when I started the program!
The concept of the Fab Detox is simple–for four prep days, you start eating healthier. You cut out caffeine, refined sugars, meat, etc., and you start feeling great. During the eight detox days, you eliminate one category of food each day for four days (nightshade veggies, legumes, etc.), have a greens-only day, and then start slowly adding back the foods you’ve previously eliminated. In the four-day post-cleanse, you focus on healthy recipes that are completely sustainable in the long term. The foods you eliminate during the detox are all foods that many people have difficulties with. Meghan provides recipes, a live streaming class during the detox, twitter support, etc. It was so much fun last year!
If you’re looking for a great kick in the pants to get your food habits on track before the holiday season starts, try the Fab Uplift Detox! You’ll be happy you did!
