I love Birchbox and Glam Bag weeks. They’ve become my favorite weeks of the month. My Glam Bag was filled with awesome goodies this month. Here’s what I thought:
August Glam Bag: Andrea’s Choice Circus Nail Polish, Eclos Regenerative Serum and Regenerative Cream, Demeter roll-on perfume, SALTY eye shadow, and MyGlam lip gloss. A good bag!
Circus by Andrea’s Choice nail polish. I love this polish! The color was a bit traffic-cone for me, but it’s a great summer polish, and I can’t wait for our next vacation to get some serious use out of this color.
SALTY Cosmetics eye shadow. This shade is a shimmery purple-whiteish. Gorgeous, and looks great on. I’ve used it as a base shade and a highlighter, and it’s great either way!
Eclos plant stem cell regenerative serum and cream. I have enjoyed using both the serum and cream. My skin doesn’t look much different, but it still feels great–and for me, no negative changes are what I hope for. The serum is light and glides on easily. The cream smoothes on, and isn’t sticky or heavy. I would definitely consider buying full-sized products from this Eclos line in the future.
Demeter roll-on perfume in “Clean Skin”–this has a nice, light scent. I prefer Viva La Juicy, but that’s definitely a personal preference. I wear this occasionally, about once a week. Given the limited days of use, this generous sample size will likely last several months, if not six months.
MyGlam Lip Gloss. This was such a surprise in this month’s bag. I took one look at it and decided the color was hideous and so not me. Then I decided to test it out, since I hate not trying things that come in my bag. I’m so glad I did! The color looks super intense from the tube, but it turns out to be fairly transparent with a hint of bright color when applied. I love it, and have worn it every day since I received the bag in the mail. It’s such a great subtle pop of color, and it glides on effortlessly without being sticky. Love!
